Above a metallic technological structure, tendrils of a tar alien biomass appear as if they were breaking out from a prison in the shape of a cylindric structure with green stained-glass parts by his feet. Taking the shape over the outlines of his host's big muscles, covered by a complex network of veins and arteries of this dark substance, the monstrous creature forms a shape tensioning big claws in the tips of his fingers and threatening any adversary while he opens his big jaws, exposing his sharp fangs and a large viscous tongue, besides replicating his mouth and teeth at the end of each tentacle, aiming to capture his prey. Thus, Iron Studios present the statue "Venom Deluxe - Spider-Man vs Villains - Art Scale 1/10", with one of Spider-Man's most lethal and terrible enemies, just like in its original concept from the comic books from the 1990s, in a set that can be completed with the statue "Spider-Man Deluxe - Spider-Man vs Villains - Art Scale 1/10", with the friendly neighborhood superhero in another exclusive version by Iron Studios.
Iron Studios also bring the regular version "Venom - Spider-Man vs Villains - BDS Art Scale 1/10", with the terrible and lethal villain above a metallic technological base, stomping and breaking a cylindric structure with green stained-glass, with the viscous tar mass escaping between the fissures.
Venom was created by David Michelinie, Mike Zeck, and Todd McFarlane in 1984; an alien creature called Klyntar Symbiote, he first appeared in the limited series Secret Wars, where he appeared in the shape of the iconic Spider-Man black costume, who didn't know he was wearing a living creature. The alleged costume enhanced the hero's powers, but also his aggressiveness. When he discovered that the costume was actually a living being that fed on the energy of his hosts to survive, the hero detached from the creature, that ended up merging with Eddie Brock, a failed journalist that hated both Spider-Man and his alter ego Peter Parker. The origin of Brock as Venom happened in 1988, and since then he became one of the arachnid hero's worst enemies, but also acting sometimes as an anti-hero vigilante self-describing himself as the Lethal Protector.
Already available for Pre-Order and revealed for the first time on the Inside Iron Studios Day show of April on Iron Studios' official YouTube channel, this statue opens the Spider-Man vs Villains line, a line that will form a fantastic diorama set, and will bring statues of other popular and iconic villains and characters from the Spider-Man universe in the Marvel Comics. For future news be sure to follow Iron Studios' social media and official channels.
Terms Of Pre-Order
Pre-orders require us to commit to an order with a specific manufacturer which we are then liable for. If you place a pre-order, the minimum 10% deposit of total guide price required to place a pre-order is non-refundable, should you choose to cancel. The only exception to this is if the price quoted on your order is going to change by more than 10% when the item arrives.
ETA's can vary and are not guaranteed arrival date. We list the date given by manufacturer, but delays can and do happen. We cannot cancel your pre-order, even if delays are substantial, so please take this into account when ordering. We regularly update the product listing with the latest ETA. Keep an eye on the listings after you order to see when your product is due to arrive.
Orders must be settled within 30 days of the product coming into stock. Failure to settle within this period may mean you lose your deposit and pre-ordered item.
Prices quoted can be subject to change as items are only billed by manufacturers when they ship to us. We do everything we can to give you an accurate buy price, but pre-orders that are far away can vary in price if exchange rate varies from now until then.
Postage fees can also vary depending on the size of the product, type of shipping and number of boxes required. We suggest you pre-order each item individually as that way each pre-order's postage is paid separately and can ship as it comes into stock.
Why Pre-Order?
Many items are produced in limited quantities. Pre-Ordering looks to ensure that you get one of the limited numbers produced.
What happens when I Pre-Order?
Upon receiving your Pre-Order, we will place an order with the appropriate distributor for your item. The distributor in turn places the order with the manufacturer who then ensure that the item is shipped to the distributor when it's ready. This means we are liable for the order from that point which is why we charge you a deposit to ensure you're serious on purchasing the item.
Why are some pre-order ship dates so far away?
A number of manufacturers produce items in batches according to demand. The manufacturing process takes considerable time as the items are often hand painted.
What if I change my mind and want to cancel?
Should you wish to cancel your Pre-Order you can do so, but you will lose either the deposit you paid, or if you paid in full or part-payments, 10% of the expected guide price of the item. The reason for this is we will have placed an order for your item and we are liable for it.
Is the price you list the final price I will pay?
Most of the time, the guide price will be correct. But as we buy most pre-orders in from abroad, the price can vary due to exchange rate variance. Sometimes that can work in your favour and sometimes against. When the item is ready to ship from the distributor, we will inform you of any price changes. If prices have risen by over 10%, you have the right to cancel order if you so wish and we will return your deposit.
Are Pre-Orders guaranteed to arrive?
Most of the time they are pretty reliable. However, sometimes the manufacturer can run into production or licensing problems and occasionally items are cancelled either temporarily or permanently. Of course if this happens we will refund your deposit.
What happens when my Pre-Order comes into stock?
When your item comes into stock you have 30 days to pay the remaining amount due (Guide Price less your deposit) or risk losing your Pre-Order and deposit.
Can I pay off my pre-order in staged payments rather than one big sum?
We can send you stage payments if you wish to pay in advance of your product shipping. Simply email us to let us know your preferred payment stages. We do ask that the balance is settled at maximum 30 days after the product is in stock.
