Willy Wonka and Oompa-Loompas in an unprecedented statue by Iron Studios to celebrate their 50th birthday!
In a world of pure imagination. Take a look and you will see. Into your imagination ... 50 years ago, the director Mel Stuart brought to life the sweet story imagined by the Welsh writer Roald Dahl, in the children's book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, written in 1964, adapted in theaters in the film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, in 1971. With the iconic actor Gene Wilder in the role of the enigmatic and eccentric Willy Wonka, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical, and the film, nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Soundtrack, became a pop culture classic that still captivates new fans!
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of this unforgettable production, Iron Studios brings, from into their imagination, the "Willy Wonka Statue - Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - Art Scale 1/10 - Iron Studios", a fantastic and unprecedented collectible, created especially for fans and collectors around the world. Willy Wonka, owner of a mysterious chocolate factory, introduces himself holding one of his famous Wonka chocolate bars, wearing his peculiar tuxedo and top hat, with impressive fidelity to Wilder's features, on a diorama base of a fictitious edible garden, all made of sweets and treats, one of the worlds inside the factory, beside a river of chocolate and two smiling Oompa-Loompas, little men from a distant land, who work at the factory.
Locked for years to protect his secrets from competitors, candy maker Wonka announces that he has hidden five "Golden Tickets" in chocolate bars distributed around the world, and those who find them will win a tour of the factory and a free, permanent supply of their chocolates. Among the five children who find the Golden Ticket is Charlie Bucket, a poor newspaper delivery boy who lives with his widowed mother and his bedridden grandparents. Together with his grandfather Joe, and the other children and their parents, Charlie embarks on an adventure in a fantasy world inside the factory, with Wonka as his host and guide, who in the end reveals the real reason for such a contest. In 2014, this classic was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress in the USA, because it is "culturally, historically and aesthetically significant.
To honor this masterpiece, Iron Studios will hide some "Golden Tickets" inside the boxes of this piece, distributed worldwide and will prepare a special surprise for the lucky ones who find these tickets.
The Polystone statue measures approx. 25 x 18 x 17 cm and comes with matching diorama base.
Terms Of Pre-Order
Pre-orders require us to commit to an order with a specific manufacturer which we are then liable for. If you place a pre-order, the minimum 10% deposit of total guide price required to place a pre-order is non-refundable, should you choose to cancel. The only exception to this is if the price quoted on your order is going to change by more than 10% when the item arrives.
ETA's can vary and are not guaranteed arrival date. We list the date given by manufacturer, but delays can and do happen. We cannot cancel your pre-order, even if delays are substantial, so please take this into account when ordering. We regularly update the product listing with the latest ETA. Keep an eye on the listings after you order to see when your product is due to arrive.
Orders must be settled within 30 days of the product coming into stock. Failure to settle within this period may mean you lose your deposit and pre-ordered item.
Prices quoted can be subject to change as items are only billed by manufacturers when they ship to us. We do everything we can to give you an accurate buy price, but pre-orders that are far away can vary in price if exchange rate varies from now until then.
Postage fees can also vary depending on the size of the product, type of shipping and number of boxes required. We suggest you pre-order each item individually as that way each pre-order's postage is paid separately and can ship as it comes into stock.
Many items are produced in limited quantities. Pre-Ordering looks to ensure that you get one of the limited numbers produced.
What happens when I Pre-Order?
Upon receiving your Pre-Order, we will place an order with the appropriate distributor for your item. The distributor in turn places the order with the manufacturer who then ensure that the item is shipped to the distributor when it's ready. This means we are liable for the order from that point which is why we charge you a deposit to ensure you're serious on purchasing the item.
Why are some pre-order ship dates so far away?
A number of manufacturers produce items in batches according to demand. The manufacturing process takes considerable time as the items are often hand painted.
What if I change my mind and want to cancel?
Should you wish to cancel your Pre-Order you can do so, but you will lose either the deposit you paid, or if you paid in full or part-payments, 10% of the expected guide price of the item. The reason for this is we will have placed an order for your item and we are liable for it.
Is the price you list the final price I will pay?
Most of the time, the guide price will be correct. But as we buy most pre-orders in from abroad, the price can vary due to exchange rate variance. Sometimes that can work in your favour and sometimes against. When the item is ready to ship from the distributor, we will inform you of any price changes. If prices have risen by over 10%, you have the right to cancel order if you so wish and we will return your deposit.
Are Pre-Orders guaranteed to arrive?
Most of the time they are pretty reliable. However, sometimes the manufacturer can run into production or licensing problems and occasionally items are cancelled either temporarily or permanently. Of course if this happens we will refund your deposit.
What happens when my Pre-Order comes into stock?
When your item comes into stock you have 30 days to pay the remaining amount due (Guide Price less your deposit) or risk losing your Pre-Order and deposit.
Can I pay off my pre-order in staged payments rather than one big sum?
We can send you stage payments if you wish to pay in advance of your product shipping. Simply email us to let us know your preferred payment stages. We do ask that the balance is settled at maximum 30 days after the product is in stock.
We offer delivery to United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland (Eire). Please note that we will only ship to cardholder address.
